Graupner FLY-PROFI esc

For my HEIM EP Helicopter i bought this vintage brushed ESC called FLY-PROFI 50 sold by Graupner and released by Japanease propo.

It can be used up to 24volts. I will use it with original brushed vintage motor fitted in the original EP HEIM UNI- MECHANIC 40 Elektro

I will use 2x 3S li-po packs linked in serial for a final voltage of 22.2. I own also a NIB Graupner Lockheed 286 body and i'd want to use it in this project.

New rc vintage helicopters highlights

Here are some of vintage rc helicopters landed recently here. They are a Graupner/Heim elektro 40 mechanic already posted  in my blog last week, a Kyosho 46VR Gold edition and a very very rare Kyosho Convert EP.

It is the frst release of Convert and it comes complete with his simulator machine so you can learn fly, with this little Hely, in your home with no risk to damage the little Convert ep or your precious items in your house.

i will post other detailed pics in the next week about those awesome hely. So pls stay tuned  here.

Graupner Heim Uni-mechanik 40 Elektro

Some weeks ago i found this nice piece of kit new in box. It is the official helicopter Heim mechanik in EP version, by Graupner, called uni-mechanik 40 Elektro. During the second half of '80 and '90 the Heim has been one of the most hely mechanic sold in that period. This is one of the lastest version of heim with the servos fitted in the mechanic and not in the fusolage like the first hely heim mechanic.

The kit comes with his original EP motor Graupner Ultra 1300 and 2 x 12N batteries. So every pack has a nominal voltage of 14.4v for a total of 28.8v. The packs were released by Sanyo so from the best factory of NC batteries of that time. They can store 2.3Ah

I tried to charge/discarge the packs and they still hold a rock 2Ah. Really incredible of a 20 years old pack battery. I own also an original graupner lockeed 286 body of time so i could use this fuse with this mechanic.

Graupner/Heim Lockheed 286h

Here is my vintage Lockheed 286 body by Graupner (Heim) for Heim Mechanic still in the box. With this body Edwald Heim won the 2nd place in first F3C World Championship in 1985.

Like you can see a lot of work to do for build this body.

This is a present from a my friend.
