Hirobo Eagle 3 EP

I already own an Hirobo Eagle 3 EP AOCC fitted in a Funtech Staysee III body. Now i bought this only built (new) Eagle III EP wheret i will fit the Black Shark III Type-e fuse for F3C flight. See the previous post on my blog

This mechanic has not the transmission of tail rotor with belt but it has a 5mm carbon pipe. This hely comes with 3 Futaba BLS252 servos fitted on the cyclic.

New rc Japanease magazines

On this turn has arrive the issues no. 01 2014 of Rc Magazine and RC World and issues 12 2013 of RC Techniques and Rc Magazines.

Usual lots of new parts released on japanease market, the reportage about 1/8 Ifmar road World Championship, and national japanease F3C and F3A finals on Rc Technique.

Interesting is article on RC magazine about the 1/10 EP model called Jet Baja that it is very similar of vintage Kyosho Javelin. There is also an article about Tamiya with also the vintage Egress rerelease 1/10 EP buggy. Then Yokomo seems that it will be re released (like Tamiya do with his old buggy) the vintage DogFighter of '80.

K&S 818 rc helicopter rotor head.

From '90 years this interesting head released by japanease K&S for 60 class helicopter. It is a full aluminium head.

Of couse you can use this head on heli of that time so Kalt 60 and Hirobo Freya of course. The most interesting thing is the flapping system of blades. So If a blade go up the blade of other side go dowm. The two sides are connected by a particular sled.

I think this system is very helpful during movement, of helicopter, in the hovering.

Funtech Staysee III with Hirobo Eagle Aocc

Here a little highlight about my new Staysee III fusolage, in green color. I'm fitting an awesome Hirobo Eagle III AOCC with SSZ-V head in this body. More pics will be available in a future post when i will finish the job.

Here below the link about the Staysee and Eagle when landed to me.

In the pics you can see also a Jr Sylphide 90 GP converted in EP with an original K&S conversion kit.

Jr Sylphide 50

Here is the Rolls Royce of 50 class engine of the mid of 2000, released by Jr Heli division. It is the Sylphide 50. It is made in full carbon with anodized alluminium parts in gold color. This hely is the reduced copy of sylphide 90 helicopter.

My Sylp 50 comes with complete an OS 50 Hyper engine and a G490T gyro with all Jr servos.

Hirobo Eagle SST with Kalt Jet Stream fusolage

Some days ago i restored my old Hirobo Eagle SST with SSR head fitted in a Kalt Jet Stream body of same period, circa 1990.

It is my first serious F3C helicopter of that time. I stripped the mechanic and rebuild all with new bolts, bearings, ecc. The body is not perfect but still nice. I used a OS 61H WC engine with a full Picco exhaust for more power.

Mr Sitar from Austria supplied me two pairs of blades of that time. They are still the best Blades for autorotation in my opinion and the Eagle fly really well.

Like gyro i fitted a vintage JR NEJ-900 gyro. here some pics.
